Good News From Vista Products...and SOTA Toys?

A few days ago, I ordered the latest, or so it seems, advancement in Arcade Stick technology for the Playstation 2, the Hori Real Arcade Pro 2. Now even though it costs 8,300 yen(thats about $67 for those of you not familiar with yen) in my native Japan, doesn't mean the same price will apply here. Though being impossible to find, I happened to stumble across Vista Products, and luckily for me, I got my hands on the last one for a nice deal of $112.50. Eagerly awaiting for an e-mail, I have just received notice that my HRAP2 will be shipping out soon. Now the endless nights of Street Fighter and my utmost favorite, Capcom Vs SNK 2, will never end. Stay tuned for a special review of the HRAP2.

In addition to the wonderful news from Vista Products, I also recieved an e-mail from SOTA Toys regarding my question about the chance of a re release of the Street Fighter Previews: Evil Ryu figure. Here's what they had to say,

"We may do another run of these figures. We are considering it but no
promises."

Though it can't be said if they will release it again, a possibility still lingers. I for one shall keep this in my daily wishes, but will not be saddened if the opportunity doesn't arise.

That's all for now, Cammy//.ZERO out.

My Not So Long Trip

Well, I made it to CnC today around 1 and had my heart set on having a fun day, however, after an hour or so, my card was swiped by some noob at the DDR Machine. It made me reflect back on the old days when people didn't swipe cards if the other person went to go get a drink, they respectfully waited out their turn in the "coin line." Or maybe I'm just crazy @.@?

I at least got a game of Capcom vs. SNK 2 out of my trip before I was blindly robbed. Cammy, Ken, and Ryu were the characters for me, Ken being my Ratio 2 wall, Ryu filler, and Cammy the deadly assassin. The only person that made it to Cammy was Geese, and given that the Arcade settings are a little less than what I am used to, Geese still managed to give me trouble, however was soundly defeated with Cammy. Getting to the Finals and defeating a R2 Rock/Athena was a breeze and, as my reward, I was able to fight Shin Akuma. Now him being a powerhouse, with some good moves was kinda eating at me, but I have studied his AI pattern brilliantly, and have spent many hours with him in the Training room, so he was cake to me, and believe me, I love my cake. Upon defeating Shin Akuma, I was rewarded with the Game Over Screen and a bottle of water, as my heart was still racing from a nice session of DDR.

Heading to the Arcade

Tomorrow after I get some things done at the Post Office, I'll probably run over to Castles 'n Coasters to have some fun at the arcade. I am thinking of playing some DDR and rekindle my fire with the big screen Capcom Vs SNK 2 machine then hit the trip up with some 3rd Strike if I have time. I will try to get videos if I can.

Old School Gaming.

Well I recently purchased Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, and am now waiting for it, along with my HRAP2 to come.

The real reason for me buying SFAA? Street Fighter Alpha 3. That game is old school and features tons of great characters that haven't been in Capcom's latest installments such as R. Mika(that's a joke xD)
